Cusco
Plan the visit
Machu Picchu is open every day. Each ticket is one named person, one circuit, one date, and one entry hour. Slots run from about 6:00 through the early afternoon.

Getting to the gate
The citadel sits above Aguas Calientes, also called Machu Picchu Pueblo. The train ends in town. A bus then climbs to the gate. Neither is included in the entry ticket, and neither is included in our price. Most people ride the train from Ollantaytambo. The walk up from town exists, and it is steep. The entry hour on the ticket is the hour you pass the gate.
Bring the passport that matches the name on the ticket. A mismatched name does not get through.
The published prices
The only official shop is tuboleto.cultura.pe, run by the Ministry of Culture. machupicchu.gob.pe explains the circuits and does not sell the ticket. Published 2026 schedules put a foreign adult on a standard circuit at S/152, plus S/11 for the national park, S/163 together. Routes that add Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Mountain, or the Great Cavern are listed higher, about S/200 plus the same park fee. Children from 3 to 17 are listed near S/70 before any park fee that applies to minors. Under 3 is free and still needs a named ticket and an ID. Each ticket is one person, one circuit, one date, and one entry hour. It is not transferable, and the date does not move. Peruvian, Andean Community, and student passports pay less. If the checkout total differs, we reprice before you pay.

On the ground
- The form sells a standard circuit. Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Mountain, and the Great Cavern are separate, capped, and often sold out.
- A circuit preference in the note is a request. We confirm what is open before you pay.
- Children under 3 are free and still need a named ticket and an ID. Tell us in the note. They are not a line on the form.
- The site is about 2,430 meters up. Cusco is higher. Give yourself a day there if you can.
- There is no skip-the-line product. The ticket is the entry.
